Vintage Fashion Show and Marketplace
Join us at the Halifax Grammar School on Saturday, February 29th for the first annual Runway to Recovery Vintage Fashion Show and Marketplace.
The R2R Fashion Show is an event being held to raise awareness and encourage a better understanding of brain disorders such as schizophrenia, and the impact these illnesses can have on the lives of affected young adults. All funds raised at this event will be donated to the Schizophrenia Society of Nova Scotia, a non-profit organization that provides practical supports, resources and information to affected individuals and their loved ones.
The first half of the fashion show will feature outfits from the 50’s through to the 80’s and the second half will feature vintage wedding gowns from the late 1800’s through to the 90’s. Following the show, a vintage and consignment Marketplace will be open to those wishing to purchase from a number of vendors from the HRM.
